Yes, you can subscribe to DEAF-L as a mailing list [by writing To: LISTSERV%SIUCVMB.bitnet@VM42.CSO.UIUC.EDU], also, below is a brief summary on how to do that. I am also forwarding ( to you privately) more info on Deaf-L. Deaf-L is probably the most widely read LISTSERV group on deafness. There are other smaller groups, some on Fidonet (if that is more accessible to you) and others that can be sent to you directly as a mailing list. I can try to gather that information if you would like it. Just let me know. I am not sure what you are looking for in regards to a teacher at a school - Roselle and I are at residential schools, I know of one or two other librarians at residential schools for the deaf who are on-line and I know of various teachers at various types of schools and programs for the deaf who are on-line and would be glad to help you make some contacts if you are interested.
