I have just seen information about ROLL-A-LAB, made by a firm in
Vancouver, BC.  Would love to hear from any of you who have this in your
schools.  (Roll-A Lab is a rolling lab of word processors about the size
of laptop computers.  cost is $290.00 per unit.  formerly made by Radio
Shackbut then bought by this company.  Comes on a rolling unit that can
recharge the batteries for each of 30 units by plugging in one plug into a
regular wall outlet.  Batteries good for 6 hours.  Has printer port.  each
unit weighs 3lbs.  30 units plus rolling cart cost $10,500.00.  Call them
1-800-663-7163 if *you're* interested.  Sounds great but I want to hear
