Dear Colleagues-- Sorry for the earlier [garbled] posting of this announcement. Here is a cleaner version, thanks to Gleason Sackman. Peter Milbury ---------- Forwarded message ---------- ANNOUNCING.BooKBraG.ANNOUNCING.BooKBraG.ANNOUNCING Scholastic Network is pleased to announce BooKBraG - a moderated monthly e-newsletter for teachers by teachers about the best new children's books and the brightest ideas for using them in your classroom. Each month you'll find reviews of more than a dozen books that address topics and genres kids love - artists & writers, biographies, endangered animals, folktales and much more! These selections are made by Judy Freeman, a librarian and author of _Books Kids Will Sit Still For: The Complete Read Aloud Guide_ (Bowker) and contributor to Instructor Magazine. BooKBraG also features "Author Talk" - exclusive interviews with children's book authors who will share their ideas for how teachers and kids can use their books. In our first issue "Author Talk" will profile Michael Dorris, author of _Morning Girl_. Your input is very important! Fill us in with your questions and comments, thoughts and ideas for using children's literature. Remember - BooKBraG is a place where you can speak up and share your ideas with your colleagues around the world!!!
