This is always the best place for information, so I'm posting my question here. Apologies if this has been dealt with frequently in the past. I am setting up a small (5-8 station) IBM network in the library to run cd-rom's only (things like Discovering Authors, SIRS, Information Finder, etc.). Is anyone out there doing a similar thing? If so, would you share information with me about the type of cd-rom drivers you are using, the backbone, the filesharing software, costs, experiences good and bad? I am a Mac person, to whom the whole IBM world is a great Mystery! BTW, we are not very well off $wise, and would like something that is neither too complex nor too expensive. Thanks, all you NETTERS. You're my lifeline Janice Shea Regiopolos-Notre Dame Catholic High School Kingston Ontario Canada regihs@qucdn.queensu.ca
