Earthquake & Seismographic info request

        I need to find a source on the Internet for current earthquake
and/or seismographic information.  Surely some agency, such as the
Geological Survey, provides such information.  I have two earth science
teachers about to start an earthquake unit who are asking me for this and
I have already told them that I don't doubt that it is available.  If
anyone can provide me with some addresses, gopher, ftp, or whatever, I
will greatly appreciate it.
