Hi. I am a graduate student in Library Science at UCLA, and I am writing a paper on the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 and libraries. If you would take a few minutes to answer the following questions, I would greatly appreciate it. Even if you feel that your library is not in compliance with the ADA, please answer these questions. All names of librarians and libraries will be kept confidential. This is being cross-posted. Sorry for any duplication. Thank you for your time, Yapha Nussbaum izzypg7@mvs.oac.ucla.edu 1. What is your position title? 2. What type of library do you work in (public, academic, school, special)? 3. Do you understand the Americans with Disabilities Act? 4. Did your library (or the larger organization of which it is a part) provide you with any training regarding the ADA? If yes, please describe. 5. Has your library employed anyone under the ADA? If yes, how many people? What types of accommodations, if any, were made? 6. Do you feel that your library is in compliance with the ADA? Thank you again for your time.
