Hypercard attendance stacks suggestions

A friend is working on a hypercard attendance stack and wants suggestions.

I'm working on Attendance stacks for use at a networked elem. school.  Its main
focus has been on QUICK attendance and lunch info.....and near-auto entry into
the District VAX system.  Also, a GOOD listing of reasons for absence and clear
indication of who needs to be called for the PTA Safe arrival program.

Does anyone use their computers for this NOW?  Could you explain?

My hypercard solution works very well.  It will eventually have several VERY
nice bells and whistles: e.g.  instant retrieval of history, charting of
tardies, auto load of modified class lists, auto load of PM classes of same
teacher.  BUT, I'm looking for ideas.....what do people WANT?
