Hello Group- IMHO, Joe's idea is a good one (for authors to use LM_NET to communicate with us) as long as they're not just trying to make a sale. Willingness to communicate is a great thing, shameless self promotion isn't what we (I) need. So I find offers from authors (one particular one in MD) who want to make free appearances at our schools a thinly veiled commercial ploy. But I would _love_ to have a children's author make themselves available for dialog.
