I agree com;etely re: teaching experinece for Library Media
Specialists--as a matter of fact, in California we have officially
changed our name to Library Media Teachers--to emphasize and publicize
that we are first and foremost teachers--Also to make hasty
administrators and boards of ed. pause when eliminating all "specialists"
and realize that we are teachers and at the helm of what should be the
