music and block scheduling

In the near future Appleton high schools will probably go to a block
schedule.  Our music teacher is concerned and would like to know what
schedules music educators find amenable particularly in the area of
performance based music class.  (This is the choral instructor who want to
know.)  Can you help?  Is there a music educators list we could also pose
