I was 10 when JFK was assinated (sp!)...we were in school, it was toward
the endof the day (east coast time)..the announcement came over the PA
system. We all stood up and sang the Star Spangle Banner and then we were
dismissed to go home.  There was no school for the next day or so because
I remember watching the funeral on TV.  The sound went out on our old
black and white TV so we listened to it on the radio while watching it.
It was the first time that I could remember my parents allowing the TV on
for unlimited amounts of time.
