The town just south of here has the Post Stampede Rodeo the first weekend
in August every year. Their C of C could send you "stuff" on it. Our 4th
and 7th graders study Texas history. Many of the panhandle-plains towns
have long-established rodeos: the XIT in Dalhart for one.
