Big Six for Elementary Students

After hearing Mike Eisenberg's and Robert Berkowitz's wonderful
presentation on the Big Six at AASL, I am ready to use it as a way of
teaching information skills with my K-5 students.  I would like to know how
any of you have used the Big Six skills with these ages and your comments
on how effective they were as opposed to teaching skills in isolation.
