Lack of Budget and Fund Raising

I would like to hear about some worse case senarios for
High School Library budgets.  I'm at a private school and its starting to
look like if I
don't raise the money myself I can't buy books.  Over fitly percent of my
collection was
published before our students were born.  I had a little money at the
start of the year
but thats history now.  Can you run a library program with just a librarian?

        On a more positive note what are some suggestions for fund raising.
