Doug and other LM-netters:
I agree with this whole-heartedly. As I've been reading the
problems with plagiarism I was thinking -- "Gee, as our school that
hasn't surfaced as a real problem." Doug , you made me realize why.
Almost all of our research (we are research-based, rather than text-book
based, deals with the critical thinking research you are referring to.
The students are not asked to write "about" something--they are
researching reasons and drawing conclusions.
