In response to your solicitations from Mandarin users--
We have had Mandarin in our district for 3 years now--
K-12, four buildings. Despite a lot of problems, it is
a good system, (of course, I've nothing to compare it to)
but the Mandarin people are very responsive to suggestions
and ideas for improvements when working on upgrades of the
software. Sometimes their training leaves a bit to be
desired but the key to any circulation system is having
good records. I may have said this before-but it never
can be said too often. Your new system will reflect the
condition of the shelf list that builds it. Clean it up to
a uniform condition before sending it out. We would probably
choose Mandarin again. I don't know of any online service
for mandarin, but would like to see one.
