Public domain music

Our school has just purchased equipment for a broadcast studio,
and as we begin to do short video programs we are in need of
musical selections that are not copyrighted.  We just finished
a good video that would have been a lot better if we had used
music.

Is there such as thing as a CD that has public domain music? If
so, where can I find one?  What do other schools use?
