HIT>Picture Storybook cite (fwd)

I promised a long time ago that I would post a hit when I got all the
replies about using picture books to teach the elements of the short
story.  I got lots of replies - but every one of them cited this book
below and not one thing else.  I finally just forwarded the last message
because they are all the same.  I am going to order the book.

Sorry this has taken so long -- I was out last week and am in the process
of catching up.  The book Julie was refering to is "Using Picture
Storybooks to Teach Literary Devices" (ISBN 0-89774-849-2).  It is
available from Oryx Press, 1-800-279-4663, currently priced at $27.00.
The latest edition was printed in 1994.  If you have any questions, just
holler!
