target-> public/school library combos at secondary level

Colleagues,
  Do you have any experience -- or know of someone who does -- with shared
school and public library combinations housed in either secondary and/or
voke schools?
  The plan is being suggested in Worcester, MA.  Seems to offer some real
opportunities for everyone, and some formidable challenges.  In this
case, there would be a new facility built, so that some of the space and
access issues could be addresssed.
  Your input will be appreciated.  I'll post hits!
