I am interested in learning more about the Internet accounts provided to librarians and other teachers by state departments created as telecommunications hubs. I know that Texas and California have provided Internet access in this way, and I am eager to hear about these provisions and the other states which provide such access. Which state departments or bureaus administer these projects, what are the costs to teachers or districts, what sort of help desks exist, what is the funding source, what does the future look like, etc. Are there are documents I cuold obtain? I would appreciate any information lm_netters can provide. Please send via e-mail. Thanks! ===================================================================== Terry Thibodeaux Internet: scoths01@bit.csc.lsu.edu 524 8th St. ttthibode@tyrell.net Port Allen LA 70767 504.344.5311 FrEdMail: tthibode@smhs.fred.org -------------------------------------------------- Scotlandville Magnet HS Library Baton Rouge LA 70807
