Hello LM_NET Members,

   The commercial postings under the Subject:  Newspapers in Education
online, was a commercial announcement, made *without* the endorsement of
the LM_NET owners, and in violation of LM_NET's Etiquette Statement, which
is sent to all members when they join this group.

   Although the announced newsletter may have been something that members
feel is worthwhile, it is _still_ a commercial announcement, which is not
permitted under the guidelines of this discussion group.

   The person posting this announcement was dropped from LM_NET, and the
online service to from which it was sent, AOL, will be contacted so as to
be appraised of the sender's misuse of their subscription to LM_NET.

   This matter has been discussed by our Hospitality Committee, and we
are in agreement as to the fact that we do NOT want any commercial
messages posted to this discussion.
