HIT>-Computer as tax deduction

Thanks to all those who responded to my TARGET.  The majority agree that
a home computer can be deducted only if it is a job requirement or if you
use it to earn income (as with the individual who uses her PC to type up
presentations that she gets paid for).  If either of these describes your
situation, consult your tax accountant about depreciating the value of
your machine.
