Well, I had an enormous response to my TARGET: about how to say goodbye in many languages. Many wonderful LM_NET members contributed (too many to name here... it looks like the REVIEW LM_NET list!). The Los Angeles Public Library also sent me their collation of phrases collected over the years. I used their format (Spelling followed by pronunciation) and added all the new words sent to me by LM_NET members that weren't in their original list. So here it is: How to Say Goodbye or Farewell in Many Languages ARABIC (Trlit) (1) Anda'nak (2) ila al-laqaa (Pron) (1) Ahn-dah-nak (2) Bikh-ATIR-coom (Syrian) ARMENIAN (Trlit) Ts'tesut'iwn (Pron) Tsuh-teh-soo-tune BULGARIAN (Trlit) Sbogom!
