Dear fellow netters,

   I too am looking for articles or other sources that compare the value of
the internet vs. the value of a school library.  The newest middle school in
our district is being built without a library in its first phase.  The second
phase depended on the passage of a bond issue which failed. So the powers
that be seem to think that the public library and the internet will meet the
needs of our 6-8 grade students.
   Any support in this area would be greatly appreciated.
