Dear LM_NET cataloging gurus, In preparing my shelf list for automation, I have run across two kinds of SBN numbers, usually both present. They are as follows: SBN: GB-698-30471-3 SBN: TR-698-20193-0 I have an idea that GB stands for Great Britain and TR stands for Toronto, as the particular book at which I am presently looking was published "simultaneously in Canada by Longmans Canada Limited, Toronto." The Title Page gives a New York publisher. The verso also gives an LCCN number. My question: which do I use for my jobber for the conversion process? Please reply privately to me. If there is interest, I will post a HIT. -- Jane Hohn, LMS Voice: (804) 292-5373 Nottoway High School FAX: (804) 292-3021 PO Box 45 Rt. 460 East e-mail: jhohn@pen.k12.va.us Nottoway VA 23955
