A student who is researching Sequoyah (the Indian) found a reference
to a disease called "green sickness" which Sequoyah almost died
from. The disease seemed to have affected his knee because
the source stated that after he got well one leg was weak and shorter
than the other. Does anyone know what "green sickness" is? The only
information we can find refers to a form of anemia which is found
in young girls. Please answer me directly. TIA
