GEN: New author addresses

I was approached by a teacher who is doing a letter-writing project with
her class. She asked me for addresses of authors who are new or
relatively new to the field because she felt that her students would be
more likely to get a response from someone who has not had thousands of
children writing to them.
  My question to all of you is:  Where do I find listings of new authors?
I know I can get the answer here if I can get it anywhere because I have
already found so much great advice and ideas by reading my e-mail from
this list serve.
