Dear Mary,
My son attends UFl.  He will be home on May2.  He is in the architecture
program and finds it very challenging.  Your student may like to know that
football is really big, the school is tough, and  the alumni are very
loyal--almost maniacs--and love to enjoy their tailgate parties.  Orange
and blue waves of shirts invade Gainesville every home game.
The campus is close to the beach (about and hour), and my son has enjoyed
the hard work and comraderie that he has developed in his field, inspite of
the fact that it is such  a huge school. He is busy with finals, but I will
tell him to check his E-mail at Jeremy C@grove.ufl.edu.
