The quote comes from the plaque fastened to one side of the bottom
portion of the lunar lander "Eagle" (the part that stayed behind). It is
one quote, and include the first names of the astronauts as well as their
last. The signatures of all four persons named are also included. The
plaque is aluminum with a heavy coating of gold. The engraving is
black. The date is simply July, 1969, since when the plaque was engraved
the actual landing date wasn't known -- there could have been delays.

Hope this helps.
