Hi Betty,

I think I know what you're going through with a flixed schedule (combined
fixed and flexible...).  One year I had classes for the upper grades
(3rd-5th) in the morning and no students could come in on passes.  on
alternate weeks i had storytime with K-2nd and students on passes could use
the media center.  So every other week while I had classes (without the
classroom teacher), the media center was closed. Any other time students
could come in.  It worked because I had a paraprofessional helping in the
afternoon available to help the kids.
