I have a similar problem -- my M.A. is in "School Media Librarianship."  What
I run into in Kentucky is that it's harder to find a job if you don't also
have teaching certification, even though  I was required to take all the
education classes except for methods classes.

From what I can tell from job listings and communications with others across
the country is that requirements vary quite a bit from state to state.

Even though I have a master's plus 30 hours, I'm considering returning to
school for teaching certification.....YUCK!! And I thought I was done with
all that!
