Those of us who live in the tropics have found it is often the humidity
rather than oily build up of any kind! I like Follett very much but the
barcode protectors do NOT hold to the old cloth-like covering on some of
my books. I did not have this problem when the central air was working
in my library. Since that broke and we have small a/cs now, there are parts
of my library which get rather humid. In those areas, I am having trouble.
