Citing electronic sources in research?

  As our students are writing their research papers, I need some examples
of how to cite electronic reference sources in the bibliography of a paper.
 I have not yet purchased an appropriate manual for research
electronically; however, I am certain that newer writing manuals have this
information.  I need this information as soon as possible--Monday at the
latest.
