LM_NET: Library Media Networking

Peter, I have thought about writing this before. I can't be the
only librarian on the list with a huge student population (2,200) and
working solo. I love the list, but can only co-op a computer and read
e-mail at odd moments of my day. Often, this is late afternoon.
Perhaps there is a way around this..don't know. My wish is that
netters would not load up the weekend list. Yesterday, it took me
forty-five minutes to get my e-mail since there were over two hundred and
fifty some messages.
Would it be possible to suggest that netters consider adding some
interesting but, not immediately needed messages to the weekdays rather
than loading up over the weekend.
I know it isn't my business and weekends may be the only time for
many of us to get computer time... and with over 3,000 of us, 250 some
messages really isn't a lot.
