Thanks in advance! (P.S. the student was more than a little miffed that
the local college used LC. "Why would you people have two _completely
different_ systems?" !)

Mark's post about the difference between Dewey and LC brings up a
question I have been fooling around with. Since I'm opening a new media
center with basically all new materials, should I use LC instead of
Dewey? I know one of the disadvantages would be non-alignment with the
rest of the schools in the district and the public library. However,
are there significant advantages to be gained from using LC?

Are there many high schools out there using LC?
