The Young Adult Library Services Association's Recommended Books for the Reluctant Young ADult Reader is seeking nominations for "Quick Picks-1996". This list, suitable for the reluctant teenage reader (ages 12-18) is composed of outstanding, titles demonstrating high appeal in terms of content, format and artwork, for young adults who, for whatever reason, do not like to read. It does NOT include books for curricular or remedial use. All books must have been published during 1995 or the last half of 1994. Nominations are accepted until Nov. 1, 1995.
