?At Ease problem

I am posting this message for our computer teacher who needs help with a
problem in the computer lab. At Ease is installed and a keyboard is
frozen or locked.  She needs to get into the chooser part of the menu and
look at keyboard options but she can't type her password.  Any ideas on
how to bypass At Ease with a frozen or locked keyboard?  TIA
