Citing Electronic Sources

Hope some of you can help us here in Prince George, B.C. Canada

A group of teacher-librarians in our school district got together recently
to draw up a standard bibliographic format for use by high school students
when citing electronic sources.
They had use of "Electronic Style:A Guide to Citing Electronic Information"
by Xia Li and Nancy B. Crane, but found it to be very complicated.  If
anyone can help us by sharing a sample format or formats, we would much
appreciate it.
