TARGET -> multicultural resource need

A colleague is looking for the following:

Multicultural resource materials (fiction, picture books, non-fiction)
for grades K-5.  He defines "multicultural" to include:  gender,
race/ethnicity, family structures, physical abilities, socio/economic
status, religion.  The community of the school includes students of the
following descent: Russian, Hispanic, Native and African American, Jewish
and various Asian countries.

As often is the case, he would like a list of any / all of the above by
next Monday (January 9) at the end of the day.  He would like to
incorporate this info into a workshop he is presenting next Wednesday.
However, should any of you have ideas/lists, etc. that would require
being mailed or that would take longer to produce, please disregard his
imminent need.  He will be able to use whatever he receives as he
develops his program.

I told him about the wonderful cooperative people the people of this
group, and volunteered to help him get the info to prove the efficacy of
our listserve.  Hope this works!
