The Inter-American Academy in Guayaquil, Ecuador is recruiting a Library
Media Specialist.  The position begins in August, 1995.

The Inter-American Academy is an international school, Grades PK-12, with
approximately 325 students.  The school offers the IB Diploma and AP
courses. Guayaquil is a large city of 2 million on the west coast of Ecuador
between Columbia and Peru.

The Library Media Center, founded in 1979, is located in a new building.
Holdings include approximately 10,000 volumes, with extensive computer
resources, internet activity and automated circulation. The library program
is a very active one, with a full-time library assistant.

Certificated teacher/librarians with extensive school library experience, as
well as significant automation and internet knowledge, are invited to
