library opening

Hello!
        I am a new librarian in a new middle school.  We have
been in a temporary location all year while awaiting the
conclusion of construction on the new library media center.  It
is now finished and we are all moved in and would like to have
a grand opening at the end of the month.  Does anyone have
suggestions about some activities to do with students in a day
long celebration?  Anything would be welcome.
