software selection policy

I realize that many districts have software mentioned within the library
selection policy (as is in mine).  However, faculty purchase software through
district technology monies, not directly through the LMC.  My question:  Do you
have in place guidelines/selection policy for software that faculty must adhere
to/fill out before handing in requests for purchase.  I will post a hit.
