YES, YES, Yes! We are *still* trying to make corrections that data entry clerks keyed into our database several years ago. Because they were not librarians, they just didn't understand the necessity of adhering to the MARC format religiously -- consequently, we have some very unorthodox records. (They did most of their data entry during the summer and Christmas holidays when a non-librarian was the only one to supervise.)
