My two cents on signature files.....

Ever consider how visually-impaired Internet users "see" your ASCII-based
pictures that are included at the end of your email?  They don't.  What
they HEAR from their speech synthesizers is:

riskasteriskasteriskasteriskasteriskasteriskasteriskasteriskasteriskasterisk
asteriskasteriskasteriskasteriskasteriskasteriskasteriskasteriskasteriskaste
riskasteriskasteriskasteriskasteriskasterisk etc etc. etc.

Many synthesizers don't have the "smarts" to know what's relevant data and
what is not.

My point?  A little sensitivity MIGHT go a long way.  IN ADDITION, if your
message is important, and I want to save it, the additional superfluous
junk takes up much needed space on my disk, OR I have to go to the trouble
of deleting it BEFORE I save it.

When I teach email, I STRONGLY discourage the use of cutsy sayings and
fancy graphics.  Sorry, too many years working with blind users, but it's a
real pain in the #&#&^%$&*%*&%*&%*&.
