Re the colorado Study (which is full of statistics, not a readable item):
david Loertscher wrote an article in SLJ, May 1993 titled "Objective:
Achievement, Solution: School Libraries".  He summarizes the Colorado Study
and _The Power of Reading_ by Stephen Krashen (Libs Unlimited, 1993).
