LC full MARC

        Hi all--
for someone who has more experience than we in obtaining LC full MARC
records by telnetting--either Library of Congress or dra.com, if an LCCN is
assigned, why can't we obtain full MARC records, or even acknowledge that
the record exists?  How long does it take a record to get in the database
after a number is assigned?  we are continally frustrated when neither our
micarolif vendor is unable to obtain MARC, or it isn't listed in Library of
Congress, etc.
