Our wonderful Middle School Librarian has to move suddenly! We have a
fabulous opportunity for anyone out there who loves Middle Schoolers and
being a resource, catalyst, and teacher for reading and research. Position
requires a person with experience in cataloging and background in YA
Literature. Dynix Scholar experience preferred. Three libraries on
campus serve students with carefully selected books, periodicals,
recordings, access to databases on-line, ILL, CD-ROM, and access to the
Internet campus wide. Librarians teach library skills formally and in
one-to-one contacts with students, and support faculty in integrated
learning projects and curriculum development. The Middle School is home
to 168 students grades 6 to 8. Salary commnsurate with degree and
experience.
