AV for LMC Instruction

Hello!

I know of some AV products for library instruction/lit. appreciation:
        i.e. Literature for Children series by AIMS
        that's available in filmstrip and video transfer

Has anyone found something that is approprate for the elementary child
that is also:
        up-to-date!
        multicultural in its protrayal of children
        ***available in laserdisk format for ease of use (I'd even
consider video, but really LOVE the ease of access of the laserdisk!)
        can be shown in about 15 min. segments
