LM_NET: Library Media Networking
Bishop Watterson High School in Columbus, OH, has an opening for an
assistant librarian, full-time. The school has about 1000 students,
a faculty and staff of about 100, and is located 7 miles north of the
city center. The program is highly academic, and 98% of our students go
on to higher ed. The library has a solid, current collection and is
fully automated with Winnebago. Multiple CD resources such as InfoTrak,
SIRS, and various encyclopedias are also in use. Each staff member has
a personal internet account.
A candidate must have a valid Ohio teaching certificate, Library Media
K-12 or 7-12. Computer experience would be nice - but then you have that
if you are on this list, don't you!
