Here are a few sites that might interest your teachers. stocks - http://www.seapl.com/cgi-bin/qs nick at night - http://nick-at-nite.viacom.com Civil war - www.access.digex.net/~bdboyle/cw.html Columbus - sunsite.unc.edu/expo/1492.exhibit/intro.html spacelink - http://spacelink.msfc.nasa.gov rainforest - http://mh.osd.wednet.edu/ weather - http://cirrus.sprl.umich.edu/wxnet/ Scholastic - http://scholastic.com:2005 whitehouse - www.whitehouse.gov/#usgovt sunsite.unc.edu Smithsonian - http://www.si.edu Classroom connect - http://www.wentworth.com/wentworth reference guide - http://adler.mec.mass.edu/www/rref.html k-12 page - http://www.SeattleAntioch.edu/Heritage/Heritagewwwk-12.html Also the Yahoo site, which is a wealth of interesting things. I don't have the address handy for it. These are just a few I have jotted down. A hint - I keep a notebook by my computer and when a site is mentioned that I think I would like or that might help a friend, I immediately jot it down. I try to keep a column with what's there plus the address. Also, if you have access to Netscape, you can do a Net Search on any key word and it will bring up any site that is related to that key search (i.e. Civil War). Then you can button your way to many sites. Good luck, hope this helps!!! Beth Ross Southlake, TX
